The Investigation
This was a solo trip by our founder. The investigation took place on February 27 2024 at approximately 9:00 am until 11:30 am with the weather being overcast. The temp was 70 degrees and the wind speed was 22 mph from the south. The whole area felt not exactly charged but in places there seemed to be cooler spots than in others. One place that I was able to capture evidence was in the Tower. Another place that i was able to capture is along the fence where settlers cut a whole big enough to escape the slaughter and the burning of the Fort. I was able to conduct a walkthrough of the fort grounds checking the baseline EMF readings except for in the trailer that is a museum. I was investigating the claims of other paranormal enthusiast of hearing residual cries that could be heard along then fence line. My personal experience here included having my bag of equipment knocked off a shelf inside the tower house even though it was secured on the shelf, multiple cold spots, and intelligent responses with a K2 that ended with a manifestation of a unexplained shadow. You can see these videos and hear the EVP’s I was able to capture below.
Investigator Tips
When conducting an EMF sweep there is an underground cable that runs from the trailer out to the field directly across from it.
Make sure that you pick a nice clear day to go, the wind hampered my recordings.
This is an outside area so there is some wildlife.
Yeah, I was in that. The Creeks had rose up and raided into Alabama and massacred a bunch of folks at Fort Mims. ‘Course that was big news in those parts, so I joined the militia. – Davy Crockett
