The Mobile Area Paranormal Society is a diverse group of individuals, with one thing in common: We all have a tremendous love and respect for the paranormal and want to help those who are being affected by such occurences, whether in City limits or up to 100 miles outside it. We encourage those who share this respect to join us in support of helping these individuals and historic locations.
We are a non-profit corporation. Our primary mission is to provide assistance to people and their families in their time of need during paranormal disturbances in a timely manner.

General rules
For example, society members must adhere to a code of conduct while on investigations. In fact, any time we are at any function that represents our team we will follow this conduct.
- You must be at least 16 years old, preferably 18 or older
- In order for us to vet you, you must have your profile, wall and friends set to public
- Members will observe all State laws at all times.
- Meeting and trainings are conducted.
- Attendance at all meetings is mandatory
Equipment
Investigating does utilize the use of specialized equipment. This equipment can be costly but can help the team out in evidence collection. If you have your own equipment the same rules below shall apply. When using equipment that is not yours please obey the following:
- Be gentle with the equipment.
- Only use the equipment for its intended purpose.
- Members shall keep up with equipment being used.
- Once equipment has been used it is to be placed in a centralized area.
- Share the equipment with other team members.
Membership
If you are looking to find a group of well-established investigators, you’ve found us. From time to time we open up for recruitment for different reasons. There may be a spot to fill or a certain need may arise. If you apply and you have not heard from us, don’t despair. We keep a record of all that apply and may be contacting you in the future.
- Only serious inquiries.
- Trainings are a must.
- You can have no criminal background.
- Some new members have to learn some science.
- Attendance at all meetings is mandatory
- You will be required to pay for or part of the costs of investigations.
